Anyone read David Farland's series about the King of Earth?
I stopped reading sequel novels about his son since they got too surreal with fractions into shadow worlds... now it'd be worth examining but I feel too old to read long fantasy novels...
The first serie of novels about Gaborn val Orden were awesome. The idea of dedication rites to empower heroes felt like a very original concept back then, now I can sort of understand the magical principles beneath it.
It was very witchcraft related fantasy saga.
