How to make a willow wreath.

Hand sewing this sunny cold fall/autumn afternoon made a new floral pillowcase from 3/4 yard cotton quilt fabric.

Made a willow & ivy wreath with cuttings fresh from my garden. Started out with circle/round that went into oval and ended in a waterdrop shape.
Due to OA not enough strength in hands/wrists to maintain round shape whilst making it.
Looks nice enough. Got a place wedged into the home shrine... as it fits into small deep window in hall/entrance.

Tomorrow maybe a second try to make a round wreath.

These weeks I am making cocktail napkins from leftovers Xmas cotton quilt fabrics bought online at https://Equilter.com
I hand sew using Sulky variegated colors cotton threads.Size is 22 cm when finished.
If I have enough fabric I do pairs of 2 but if not just one. Like my latest is cream color with tiny gifts in lots of colors was I think brand Makower UK.

One year I’d made reversible place mats - with color coordinated napkins - all hand sewn. I celebrated when I got the last one done! I thought I’d be cross eyed 😵 for good.

sweet!
I made hot pot mats out of remnants and some really ugly placemats from the 99 cent store. Folded the mats in half and covered with the seasonal fabric (to make reversible also!) Then I stitched a pentagram in the center, with the machine...not by hand. Fun! Gave 'em away as Yule gifts.

Dang those scrap books are super! Now I have another way to use the many cards and other Yule memorabilia that has been saved over the years. Thanks for sharing.
