The NY Times ran a story on 1/26/21 on Harvard prof Avi Loeb’s belief that interstellar Oumuamua could have been a probe. Slow news day - that story’s been kicking around a couple years. It’s a puzzlement how it accelerated out of the solar system. A Sling shot effect around the sun like in Ye olde Star Trek?
