Thought it would be a good idea to make a shirt out of recycled plastic bottles? Well think again. Microfiber fabrics are breaking down in the washer and re entering the water systems. Sheets and other fabric made from microfiber are not bio degradable and will never break down.

Please steer clear of these fabrics they are not a friend to the Earth and take more energy to process in to fabric than it does to make cotton fabric.
Certainly another good reason to keep your magical wear in a natural material.

So I ran into this article, there may be a wee glimmer of hope. Killing one chemical with another? Hope this doesn't create a newer problem!

We need to go back to early 60's when glass bottles was a mainstay..
It was big mistake to let go of glass.. now there trying to make it new earth friendly thing..
Over 50yrs of using plastic has done the damage.

Ya, I actually remember getting 10 cents for each 7up bottles in the 60's and early 70's.
Plastic just began to explode at that time, I mean you used to put the produce from the market in little paper bags. For so long I have loathed plastic, and tried to avoid it whenever possible.
