Time Heals All Wounds

Some say.. is it true can fore certainty such pain can go away..
Not at all the wounds are now scars on my soul
My fractured soul I feel them on my worst of days
Becomes memories of of painful things I did and experience ages so many
long ago. Scars on a soul are reminder .
That not all is washed away.
With a new life. Oh no for me some that pain
I still felt a life or two away..
It hard to forgive or forgiveness what was done.
To me . Yes I hold onto a grudge like walking a tightrope
Though I realize those people are gone.
Some times the agony comes back to me.
And suffering I was in because I was ashamed and nobody would listen.
To lash out and take my frustration on others
Just numbed me .. In end it didn't help me.
That notion that time heals all wounds is broken fairy tale.
