I'm rather obsessed by anything by Hayao Miyazaki. Especially Porko Rosso, but that could be the strange fascination I have with gaslight stories (especially late, in the 1920's) and with flying in general. Oh and shape shifting. And perky but strong but cute female leads. So he basically covers all the bases of my adoration with one swift stroke. My favorite format is a double feature... this and Those Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines. Not anime but still fun!
A little dated and a touch sexist... but what do you expect? It was the 1970s!
So the antidote to the 1970's is Porko Rosso. Whee!

Oh, and Lupin the III. No Bond can hold a candle to him. heart_face

I'm also fond of Cowboy Bebop, and Lane. Ranma 1/2 is ok, as long as I don't watch too much of it all in one go... it becomes formulaic after a while. Oh, and there's that one about the corrupt police force... damn. I can't remember the name of it, but it's hysterical.

I hate project A-ko. (spelling??) It is all the things I hate about Japanese humor concentrated in one show. Ick. Because of that, I don't watch as much anime as I probably should.

Clamp does some good stuff, too.

I like Tokyo Mew Mew and Chobits. I'm a kind of fan of Naruto. I watch it occasionally.
I like Bleach too. =D

Does anyone reccomend any anime to watch? I want to watch Death Note but I keep missing it. D=

How did I forget to mention Witch Hunter Robin and Hellsing?!

I obsess over the Hellsing manga! I love it, but I haven't gotten to finish it yet. (they're so expensive!)

I didn't like the anime. I don't think they explained enough. It was confusing.
I love the WHR anime, though. I thought it was awesome.
I really should buy it, I've had the urge to watch it again.

I forgot some others.

Anime:
FLCL
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Wolf's Rain
I've seen Hellsing and liked it but couldn't continue watching it since I wasn't of age back when I saw it.
S-Cry-Ed is another one I've seen but couldn't watch it since it showed late at night.

I love anime. I really don't have a favorite. Chobits, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain are some of the ones I like.
