Wish Tea Potion
You'll need:
-Orange slices
-Ginger slices
-1 cup of water
-1 teaspoon of Green Tea leaves
-Honey or sugar (optional)
- In a pot, boil the water and wait 4 minutes
- Put the orange slices, ginger slices and the honey/sugar in the teapot.
- Put the hot water into the teapot and dissolve the honey.
- Wait more 2 minutes.
- Put the green tea leaves.
- Let the tea infuse for 2 minutes.
- While the tea infuses, visualize your wish coming true and chant the following:
"I have pure intentions, you see,
I ask that the lucky wind bring it to me,
Let it be on my way
And, if possible, make it stay,
With harm to none, my will be done."
PS: Green Tea is very delicate, so I prefer to wait the water to cool down, and use a short infusion time, because it can become bitter if the water is very hot or if the infusion time is much long, but it’s only personal preference.

Re: Wish Tea Potion
It’s funny the things I remember ... I read something once about brewing green tea. As water heats toward boiling temperature single bubbles will appear on the surface, and as it continues to heat the bubbles form around the rim of the pot. These bubbles are called “fish eyes” and “string of pearls”. Green tea should be brewed when the fish eyes appear.

The Japanese tea ceremony is quite a ritual. If you all ever have a chance to attend one that is a great treat.
I hadn't heard about the "eyes" I like it
I also have heard never to pour boing water over green tea ...only black tea, boing water will ruin the delicate green leaves. I believe you can boil but then wait a minute before pouring over leaves. or use that just boiled water to rinse cup and or teapot. By then it should be at a temp that is suitable.
