Death pet as a familiar

Well im new to this page and i know little of magic but... moonstone i wanted to ask you, is there any way to make 1 or more death friends (pets as people that thinks animals are inferior calls them) as my familiar?????

The dead aren't meant to stay. I know this isn't to me but take it from a practicing shaman whose specialty is dealing with the departed and departing.

IMO I don't think that those are really the souls of the people who have died.
I think it is latent energy they left behind most of the time.
But this is my opinion.
