Elemental Question

I've been told that being a Gemini, I am Air. I don't think that's right. I feel more like Water. Can anyone help me with this? I'm kinda confused.

I took a look at the link and it gave me Aquarius, which is also an air sign.

The reason I think I'm water instead of air is I am an emotional person, not an intellectual one. I rely very much on what my feelings tell me. That sounds more like water to me.
