What is a spirit guide
So I've heard so much talk about spirit guides but I've never really contacted/learned about spirit guides. I am really interested in learning about them if anyone has any suggestions on contacting/learning about a spirit guide.

Well the title is pretty self explanitory. It is a guide in spirit form that guides your spirit.
It is often a spirit whom you've known through past lives. A part of their spirit becomes as a guide to you, like a guardian angel of sorts. They can offer advice but more often then not they are not allowed to share wisdom of beyond the veil. They can advise you against things however (loudly if needed).
They can appear to people in a form they were known for in one of the past lives you shared. You can call for them through meditation and contemplation. There are specific meditations you could try but best is to let your inner voice guide you because that is often them to begin with.

Spirit guides come in human form while animal guides come in animal form.
They are both a form of guides and some say they are actually the same. Animal guides can be your totem animals or your guides taking the form of an animal that they feel personifies them. This can differ depending on the study.
