Often the weight we feel is not our own

Post by spiritsoul »

We, the spiritually blessed, are often plagued by the pain of others we pick up empathetically. It can weigh on us the same but hard to describe and talk out in any type of counselling. Any advice out there how to shut out the rest of the world for just a few moments. Meditation & deep breathing are good but I mean while we're in the midst of an activity.

You may try some shielding techniques. They help me a little. You just have to be able to task a portion of your attention to it.
Do not attempt, Achieve
Do not hear, Listen
Do not go blindly forward, See
Do not judge, Understand
Do not forget, for in this you shall learn nothing
