Question for everyone Just out of curiosity what is everyone's favorite Gemstone or crystal ??

Mine are Malachite and Hematite, both protective stones which I have been keeping with me for more than a decade.

I have always like Moonstones and Tigers Eye.
However I am having fun learning about the various kinds right now. I have been using my rock tumbler to polish various types fo gemstones and have begun to feel the different energies in them!

So far, Rose Quartz is my favorite. It's energy feels to me like finally being able to take a deep breath. Very warm and refreshing.

For me it is the Moonstone...I can't even explain it, there is just something about it that attracts me to it.

No, I like citrine right now for it's energy building happiness, but I am just getting started on crystals and not sure how to feel their energies yet. Lapis is beautiful too!

AnnaKaterina, with your hematite, do you know if it helps with arthritis and sore joints? I've heard it helps and see older people wearing them as bracelets.

I've had a chunk of red tiger's eye for a few years that I wear and use as a pendulum, so pretty much that. I adore red tiger's eye.

Also, quartz. I found a palm sized chunk of raw quartz nearby my home and it is a very potent stone.

With stones, though, I'm very individually based. Like people, each has a different character, even if they're the same type.

i have a few lol,i do love my crystals and i do have alot now,rose quartz is un-conditional love,a calming-crystal to hold.clear quartz a great healer,cleanser,protecting,and doesnt need cleanseing itself,but can keep others cleansed.citrine is a good one,it helps me alot,bladder,tummy probs,helps with confidentance too.hemertite for grounding, and for health etc,so many lol,got crystals for the chakras and learning grid-working at the momment too

Amber. I have two amber pendants that I wear as necklaces. One is round, a yellow amber with many inclusions, and the other is teardrop-shaped red amber in a silver setting. I also have a lovely, large, display-quality chunk of amber with an insect trapped in it. It's an interesting and unique mineral, one that has a lot of folklore and mythology attached to it. It has a lot of associations with magic.
