(Mods, if this is in the wrong place I apologize)
My fiance and I are going to Salem October 14 for a week and it would be cool to get "the witch's take" on what to see and where to go. We won't be renting a car, but want to get the most out of our stay.
My fiance has a tendency to be approached by the supernatural and I'm sensitive and empathic. We love that sort of thing and the history there is fascinating (not to mention Salem is to us as Auschwitz is to Jews in a way).
If anyone lives there or knows the good places to visit, I'd love your take!

Re: Salem, MA
Suppose the most visited place would be the witch trials memorials, if ever I get to the east coast this is a bucket list place for sure

There is a museum there too. Really lots of info and links on this website.
Would spend time leaving offerings like flowers, water, bread, acorns or other seeds. Since discovering my 11th great grandmother was Sarah Cloyce (Towne) who was accused, jailed and broke out but lost two sisters to the witch craze, Rebecca Nurse and Mary Eastey, I would spend time connecting to these two great(x12) aunts. Cannot even Imagin the horror this family (Townes) that endured 3 family members be drawn into the hysteria and then to ultimately loose two of them, how terrifying that must have been. If DNA has memory...UffDa! It's really no wonder so many of us struggle.
Our hostess with the most-ess had a trip there, here is her blog about it. https://www.everythingunderthemoon.net/ ... trials.htm
So Sly...did you end up seeing lots of sites? send pictures!
