Child Blessing

For some reason I get the urge to write poetry and novels every once in awhile. This is one of my few Wiccan based poems.

I wrote it on Beltane in 2002

Blessed be the child I carry with me,
Keep this child healthy and strong!
Let this child grow and learn of you
M'Lady and your ways.
Hold this child with your loving hand M'Lady,
Guide this child to our world and home.
This child shall dance in your honor M'Lady,
And sing to you in voices unheard.
Thank you for this child M'Lady,
For we all come from you and we all shall someday return to you!

M'Lady is pronounced like in the movies when knight meet a woman, like um Melady all in one breath. it is hard to explain.

That was just beautiful!! I think it is a great poem for someone carrying a child. It was really nice.
