i love mother earth and when someone is sad or crying i have to help them. am i an empath?

Try putting more information so that people can answer your question. According to me empaths feel all the emotions of the people that surround them. I'm not an empath I can know people emotions but I don't feel anything towards them, you can tell me a really really true and sad story and I won't feel anything not even if I see a horrendous accident.

Well I'm an empath and I can't pass a crying child without having to fight tears.
